Wedding Aesthetic & Style
With a dream team in tow and a vision of a “Secret Garden” as our muse, we embarked on a journey to craft a wedding day that was anything but ordinary. Manoela had asked us for flowering branches, and we weren’t sure we would be able to source flowering branches early before spring. However after ten years of flowering- we have our sources.
Floral Color Palette
We kept things laid-back with Manoela’s flowers, using a mix that feels like it was just scooped up from an English garden. Soft pastels were jazzed up with bright lavender from the Phlox and crisp whites and greens from Queen Anne’s Lace. The daffodils’ sunny yellows and the double tulips’ rich colors made everything pop.
Adding to the vibe, flowering branches and creamy whites of Achillea blended seamlessly, tying the whole look together with sand-toned vessels. These elements highlighted the natural vibes and made everything feel cool and romantic.
The Bridesmaids rocked magenta dresses that made a bold statement, and the bride glowed in a beautifully fitting custom gown.
The Wildflower Wedding Bouquet
The bouquet popped with its wild garden style. We featured early poppies and hellebores, which brought lilac and fuchia pos into the mix. Alongside these, additional flowers like lush peonies and delicate freesias added layers of texture and color.
This early selection of blooms gave the arrangement a distinct flair, combining traditional ikebana elegance with a bold, colorful twist. It set a trend with its unexpected vibrancy, making it a standout piece that was as eye-catching as it was trendsetting.
The Mayfair House Wedding in Coconut Grove
Nestled in the heart of Coconut Grove, Mayfair offers an enchanting backdrop that feels straight out of a storybook.
This recently revamped venue’s modern chic, perfect for a whimsical garden wedding. Its lush, vibrant tropical gardens and elegant indoor spaces were perfect for Manoela’s vison.
Everything was synced perfectly for the ceremony and reception. By coordinating with the bakery, we even matched our bite-sized desserts with the overall color scheme. The vibe was effortlessly stylish, with the flameless candles and sand-filled vases.
I dreamt of a secret garden with a mystical enchanting vibe, and they surpassed all my expectations. My chuppah took my breath away – Manoela
The copper Chuppah stood out for the ceremony, decked out with wild, loose blooms that climbed whimsically up the sides and met at the top. It was like something out of a dreamy garden.
A Look Back at Our Garden Wedding Magic
This wedding wasn’t just about saying “I do.” It was about creating a vibe so chill and magical, guests felt part of something special—like stepping into a fairytale, but cooler.
Every choice, from the bold magenta to the laid-back elegance of our table setups, was all about making this day feel like Manoela and the groom.
My guests raved about how beautiful the table pieces were and how delicate and romantic it all looked. And last but not least my bouquet, I swear it’s like they plucked the image from my mind and made it real.
